The Nespresso Coffee and Espresso machine by De'Longhi utilizes dual-size single-serve capsules, allowing you to brew either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. The Nespresso Vertuo machine employs large capsules for coffee and small capsules for espresso, and it features the patented Centrifusion extraction technology, which reads the barcode on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically adjusts the brewing parameters.
The Vertuo machine brews four cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee. Additional features include an adjustable tray, a 54 oz water reservoir, and an automatic capsule ejection system that can hold up to 17 used capsules. The machine heats up in just 15-20 seconds and features an energy-saving automatic shut-off function after 9 minutes of inactivity.
